I am a mother to two amazing daughters, an award-winning and Amazon best-selling author, occupational therapist, university instructor, homeschool educator, and a military spouse. I am honored to also be the Executive Directory of Disability Book Week, a global all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting and celebrating disability-inclusive books! I have moved my family around the country twelve times, and currently reside in Sycamore, IL.
I graduated with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in 2007. I am also a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist.
I offer consulting sessions to caregivers, businesses, and organizations looking to understand barriers experienced by individuals with disabilities or neurodivergence and utilize strategies, tools, techniques, and means of accessibility to strengthen and overcome these challenges.
