Professional Development Sessions
Deliver evidence-based professional development sessions that support early childhood educators in understanding developmental delays, autism, and sensory processing differences, and in effectively supporting these children within classroom settings.
- Guide teachers in creating realistic, skill and strengths-based support plans for children, including identifying potential barriers to participation, leveraging classroom support techniques, and integrating strategies that promote meaningful participation and developmental growth.
- Develop educators' existing strengths and practices, exploring co-regulation and therapeutic use of self, emphasizing relationship-based strategies that support trust, emotional safety, and meaningful engagement for young children with diverse developmental needs.
- Support educators in identifying, anticipating, and responding to sensory triggers commonly encountered in early learning environments, offering practical, classroom-based strategies to reduce distress, support regulation, and increase participation in routines, transitions, and learning activities.
- Support educators in identifying sensory and accessibility barriers and implementing strategies that promote inclusive learning environments.
